Every day on the show we say that the program is from the Creighton University Department of Atmospheric Sciences, but actually for the last few months the program has been coming to you from the Institute for Geophysics and Meteorology at the University of Cologne in Cologne, Germany, where Dr. Jon Schrage has been working. He’s back at Creighton now, but his is just the latest in a series of exciting international experiences that students and faculty members in the meteorology program have enjoyed in recent years. The global nature of studies of meteorology and climate open up wonderful opportunities for international travel, as discussed on today’s episode of Weather Break.
