Weather Cycles?

You’ll often hear people talk about “weather cycles” — patterns of weather or climate that oscillate back and forth between two extremes — but do such cycles really exist in the atmosphere and the climate system?  All this week on Weather Break, we’re going to be taking a look at that question and seeing some of the “cycles” or “oscillations” that DO seem to be real.  What do these patterns tell us about the behavior of the atmosphere, and why aren’t there more of them?  Tune in to today’s episode of Weather Break to start to find out!
